【ルワンダで調査及び高校・大学と交流を行いました】
2023年6月17日～25日に大学院生3名とルワンダのカヨンザ郡を訪問し、科研費での調査及び現地の高校・大学と交流しました。科研費での調査では数学の問題解決におけるメタ認知スキルの活用について継続的にデータ収集をしています。また、交流活動では、日本文化の紹介や両国の歴史を説明し合い意見交換をしました。また、埼玉上尾メデックスの旧ウェアやグッズを現地の子どもたちにプレゼントしました。毎回我々の訪問をアレンジして頂いている、Cloudeさん、Pierreさんに心より感謝です。
[Research and exchange activity with high schools and a university in Rwanda].
From 17-25 June 2023, three master students and I visited Kayonza District, Rwanda, to conduct research under KAKENHI (Grant-in-Aid for scientific research) and exchange activity with high schools and a universitiy. We conduct the research continuously to investigate the use of metacognitive skills in mathematics problem-solving. Regarding the exchange activity, we introduced Japanese culture. In addition, both sides explained their county’s history 1and discussed. We also gave used clothes and goods from Saitama Ageo Medix. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Mr. Claude and Mr. Pierre for arranging our visits every time.
